Undertaken in partnership with our colleagues from HM Inspectorate of Prisons for Scotland, the review considers the strengths and areas for improvement in the governance, leadership, and accountability of prison-based social work in Scotland.
In the review, they note improvement actions to be taken forward by the Scottish Government, the Scottish Prison Service, and justice social work services, along with other key partners. They also outline next steps in relation to future scrutiny of prison-based social work services.
