Developed through the former Whole Systems Approach for Women Steering Group, the Community Justice Ayrshire Partnership have produced a short resource of common justice terms, acronyms and abbreviations.
The document explains a number of key terms used in Court and during legal proceedings as well as acronyms and abbreviations people may refer to. There is also information about the range of community sentences a person can receive.
We have also included a small number of acronyms that are used or referred to by the Community Justice Ayrshire Partnership.
