Community justice is about organisations working together to ensure that people who have offended address the underlying causes of their behaviour, and pay back to the community where appropriate.

The Community Justice Ayrshire Partnership was established following the introduction of the Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016.

The Community Justice Ayrshire Partnership is a pan-Ayrshire partnership working across East, North and South Ayrshire local authority areas, including statutory and third sector organisations who work together to reduce reoffending and improve outcomes for people affected by the justice system.
