With effect from May, the previous monthly “Safer Communities & Justice Brief” and “Coronavirus (COVID-19): Justice Analytical Services data report” will no longer be published separately. The new report for this month, entitled “Justice Analytical Services Safer Communities and Justice Statistics Monthly Data Report: May 2022 edition” has been published today.

The report contains most of the summary statistics that were previously in the brief, covering a number of important justice and safer communities statistics. There are also more detailed statistics on fire and prisons. In addition, the topic pages near the end contain features on both the summary report on the impact of COP26 on the justice system and the paper on remand and bail outcomes, both of which were published earlier this year.
