CSE Aware

At the Women’s Support Project we recently launched CSE Aware, a network for service workers to increase their understanding of the needs of women who sell or exchange sex and improve responses to them. I am writing to invite you and your team to join the network by subscribing to our e-bulletin.

I would appreciate it if you could please circulate this information with your colleagues and networks.

The CSE Aware bulletin will be sent to subscribers every 2 months and it will include information and resources designed for workers to explore the specific issues and barriers faced by women who sell or exchange sex and how service providers can meet those needs.

What to expect

Each bulletin will be themed and will cover some of the issues faced by women in the ‘sex industry’ such as: housing, mental health, finances/money, substance misuse, safety, and others that we identify through this network. We will include:

  • Interviews with workers from agencies/services and their practice when supporting women who sell or exchange sex
  • Insights on the issues women face in each of the identified areas
  • Resources to improve responses and increase understanding within your team
  • Details of our upcoming training events which will also address each of the key topics.

For more information and to subscribe to the bulletin, please visit https://www.cseaware.org/bulletin.html.
