This report covers findings from research with Social Security Experience Panels members about their experiences of accessing the benefit system.
The research also asked participants about their views on how Social Security Scotland should promote its benefits. Participants also gave their views on how Social Security Scotland should challenge stigma and other barriers to taking up benefits.
The research took place between February 2020 and March 2020. In total, 39 participants took part in 11 focus groups and one interview across 8 locations in Scotland
