Tomorrow's Women and the Women's Problem Solving Court Webinar

The National Prison and Police Care Networks are delighted to host a webinar on Tomorrow’s Women and the Women’s Problem Solving Court on Wednesday 24 September, 13:00 – 14:00. We will be joined by Eilidh Ebbitt, Social Worker and Catriona Hall, Senior Mental Health Practitioner / RMN.
 

This engaging session will introduce Tomorrow’s Women Glasgow (TWG) and explore its vital role alongside the Women’s Problem Solving Court at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Together, these services demonstrate how connection, collaboration, and trauma-informed practice can support women to move away from the justice system and towards more positive futures.

About the webinar
Tomorrow’s Women Glasgow is a community-based women’s justice centre providing intensive, wrap-around support to women involved in the justice system. Through a multi-agency, trauma-informed approach, TWG supports women on Community Payback Orders, Drug Treatment and Testing Orders, Structured Deferred Sentences, and other pathways, helping to address complex trauma, mental health needs, and risks of reoffending.

The Women’s Problem Solving Court applies problem-solving justice principles, offering structured, supportive judicial oversight. With regular review hearings and close partnership working, this model enables Sheriffs to respond flexibly to progress or setbacks while reinforcing engagement with support services.

This session will explore:

• How TWG supports women to stabilise, build resilience, and reduce reoffending
• The benefits of the problem-solving court model, with a focus on trauma-informed practice
• The importance of consistent relationships, continuity, and multi-agency collaboration
• Early reflections on outcomes for women and key learning to take forward
