The session will look at what is meant by terms such as empowerment, person centred and trauma informed approaches in the context of domestic abuse and how these can be used to support women to increase their space for action.

Greater understanding of the concepts of Empowerment, Person Centred and trauma informed approaches • Increased awareness of the power that we have as workers and how we can minimise power imbalances • Increased awareness of the benefits of reflective practice
