To mark World Hepatitis Day on 28th July, Hepatitis Scotland will be hosting an online event that will focus on providing an overview of hepatitis C in Scotland.
This event will explore the current landscape of hepatitis C infection, examples of assertive outreach models in local areas and voices of people with lived experience.
Programme:
Professor Sharon Hutchinson – Epidemiology and Population Health at Glasgow Caledonian University and Public Health Scotland
Professor John Dillon – Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist, NHS Tayside
Pauline Dundas – Lead Hepatology Nurse Specialist, NHS Grampian
Hepatitis Scotland Volunteer Scott will discuss his personal experience of old and new hep C treatments.
Q&A with Sharon Hutchinson, Pauline Dundas, Alastair Hudson (CEO – HIV Scotland), and Billy Hamilton (Hepatitis Scotland)
