Action Against Stalking are delighted to hold the ‘Stalking IS NOT a joke’ Masterclass Event during The National Stalking Awareness Week.
This event brings together expert speakers in a united voice to highlight why Stalking is not a joke. Stalking has a high prevalence across the world with complex intricacies.
The Event Masterclass will in culminate the need for an interdisciplinary victim-centred approach for preventing and combatting the crime of stalking, whilst mitigating the inter-personal impacts for those that have experienced stalking. The Masterclass will also highlight the importance of an individual and collective approach to raising awareness of this evolutionary and complex social issue, whilst calling attention to the specialised support available to those experiencing stalking and perpetrators of stalking.
This masterclass is a global response to a global issue; one that requires collaboration to find new solutions to the ever-evolving nature of stalking & cybercrime and supporting those experiencing stalking along with an understanding of working with perpetrators in a custodial sentence. The Webinar will be recorded and recordings will be made available after the event. Please note, if you’re unable to attend the live event, but purchased a ticket you’ll be able to rewatch the event as the recording will be sent out.
Attendees will be issued Certificate of Attendance 1 day after the event.
