CSE Aware - Safety strategies for women who sell sex or images

CSE Aware is offering a free online training session for frontline practitioners aimed at exploring safety risks and strategies related to different settings of the ‘sex industry’.

Agenda 

• Safety risks for women who sell or exchange sex  
• Safety strategies for women selling sex on street  
• Safety strategies for women in indoor settings  
• Safety principles concerning the online ‘sex industry’. 

Accessing the session
The training session will be held on Teams. To create a participatory environment, participants are asked to keep their cameras on during the session.

How to register
This session is open to both statutory and voluntary services based in Scotland, including those focused on violence against women, mental health, sexual health and relationships, substance use, housing, criminal justice, public health, and social work.

Individual workers who wish to participate in this training can express their interest by submitting their details below. If a space is available, we will contact you to confirm your attendance. Please note that spaces are not confirmed immediately, as we tend to operate a waiting list.

Unlike webinars, our training sessions are not recorded and are limited to 8-14 participants. Please only express your interest if you are able to attend.

Cancellation fee
If a worker confirms their attendance but later can no longer attend, we ask to notify us by email at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the free spot to the next person on the waiting list.

Any participant who cancels their confirmed spot with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged a £30 fee, except in emergency cases. The same fee will apply to participants who do not attend the session and fail to provide the required 48 hours’ notice.
