NHS Ayrshire and Arran have been working with the Health and Social Care Partnerships and Local Authorities across Ayrshire to develop a single point-of-contact for staff to refer people into if they feel they need some support around financial inclusion and/or fuel poverty.
When a person’s contact information is sent to the point-of-contact, with the brief reason for referral, it will be assessed and followed up by the appropriate advice agency who will contact them.
