Ensuring that the housing needs of individuals in prison are addressed consistently and at an early stage by fully implementing and embedding the Sustainable Housing on Release for Everyone (SHORE) standards across all local authority areas is a Priority Action for local Community Justice Partnerships set out by the Scottish Government. (link to the National Strategy).
There are three themed delivery groups which are responsible for progressing the work of the partnership. Housing colleagues from across Ayrshire sit on the Community Reintegration Delivery Group where they work with other partner agencies to progress work in relation to housing and community justice issues.
