The Scottish Crime and Justice Survey is a large-scale social survey which asks people about their experiences and perceptions of crime, policing and the justice system in Scotland. The 2019/20 survey is based on around 5,600 face-to-face interviews with adults (aged 16 or over) living in private households in Scotland. Interviews were conducted between April 2019 and March 2020.
The report also contains biennial results from the SCJS self-completion modules (covering drug use, stalking & harassment, partner abuse and sexual victimisation), which are combined over two survey years (2018/19 and 2019/20).
