Following on from our previous communications and engagement series ’10 Questions With’, ‘A Day in the Life’ and ‘Community Justice in Action’ we are pleased to present our new series ‘Inside the Role’. Building on the spirit of our existing series – which help deepen the understanding of partnership working and highlight the individuals behind key services – this collection offers a closer look at what it really means to work within community justice today.
There are a wide range of services who are part of the Community Justice Ayrshire Partnership, all working to reduce reoffending and improve outcomes for people in the justice system and the wider community impacted by justice issues. The ‘Inside the Role’ series will give you an insight into the work of a variety of staff members from organisations who are part of the partnership. You will get to learn about the challenges and positive outcomes each person experiences in their role, and the importance of partnership working in their day-to-day activities.
We hope this series will broaden awareness of the roles, responsibilities, and contributions that help drive collaborative community justice work across Ayrshire. If reading any of the articles raises any questions or you would like to know more please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you would like to share your ‘Inside the Role’ story, or nominate a colleague or team member within your service (with permission of course) please get in touch with Claire Gilsenan (CGilsenan@north-ayrshire.gov.uk).
