Equally Safe: Closing the Gap

It will be held online on September 26^th and is free to attend.

Equally Safe: Closing the Gap offers practitioners a chance to hear firsthand from researchers, lawyers and activists about how we can tackle the most pressing issues in VAWG prevention. It will include inputs on how the Scottish legal system could better support the survivors of VAWG, discussion of how gender equality is under attack worldwide, survivor’s voices & explore how technology is reinvigorating misogyny with keynote speaker: Laura Bates.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in combatting violence against women & girls. While several legal sessions will be Scotland-specific, the broader issues raised should be of interest to anyone in the UK.
