The National Prison and National Police Care Networks continue to host a series of joint webinars on MS Teams to support the continued professional development (CPD) for staff working within the NHS, the Scottish Prison Service (SPS), Police Scotland as well as wider partners.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the speakers that have supported to webinars to date as well as those who have joined. The following webinars are now open for registration.
20 August, 10am-11am – Post-release health service contact for mental health and substance use: results from RELEASE
3 September, 2-3pm, SOLD Network: The Impact of the Justice System on those with cognitive and neurological impairment
8 October, 1pm-2pm – An Introduction to Mental Health and Psychiatry in Prisons, Police Custody and Pre-release Assessments
The webinars are strictly for the CPD of NHS Scotland professionals and key partners involved in supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals in custody settings. Any webinar resources disseminated should only be shared for CPD purposes.
